Ikat is a resist dyeing technique involving binding yarns and dyeing them to create a pattern before weaving on a handloom. The process may be repeated multiple times and in different colours in both warp & weft to create the desired pattern. The “blurry” characteristics of an ikat weave are the result of the extreme difficulty for the weaver to line up the dyed yarns in a perfect formation, especially in complicated patterns or multiple colours.

Wash Care Instruction
Machine wash 30 C.
Use a mild detergent.
Tumble dry low.
Do not bleach.
Warm iron with steam if you want.
Note: All indigo garments are dyed using a natural indigo, at first the indigo garments may stain other clothing, fabric or skin. Wash them separately in cold water until the residual indigo has been removed, normally after about 4 or 5 washes.
