Made from a densely woven duck cloth using thick cotton yarn, this fabric is exceptionally durable, heavyweight, and resistant to wind, abrasion, and tearing-ideal for winter bottoms. Finished with a grunge-washed treatment, the material is dyed in small batches, creating natural irregularities and wrinkles. After dyeing, it is sun-dried rather than tumble-dried, minimizing fiber damage and giving the fabric a soft, unprocessed feel. This method also reduces electricity use, making it an environmentally conscious yet labor-intensive process. Based on a uniform with a relaxed, slightly loose waistline, the design is made easy to wear with elastic shirring at the hem and an elasticated waistband.
